Sonilo / Sync

Auto-Sync Music to Video

Instead of cutting your video to a song, Sonilo composes the song to your video, so builds, hits, and the ending land on the cuts you already made.

How it works

How Sonilo syncs music to a video

  1. 01

    Upload your edited video

The cuts, transitions, and ending of the edit are what Sonilo composes to, so upload the cut you intend to publish.

  2. 02

    Pick a mood and energy

Describe the direction in a few words. Enable Keep speech and vocals if the video has dialogue.

  3. 03

    Generate options

Sonilo places musical events from the timing of the video: a build before a reveal, a change on a hard cut, a resolve at the final frame. Compare the options with the picture.

  4. 04

    Export

Export the video with the synced track mixed in, or the track alone. Nothing in your timeline has to move.

Who this is for

Best for: creators who edit first and want the music to follow

Beat-sync tools in editors such as Canva, CapCut, and Premiere Pro do the opposite job: they move your cuts to fit a track you already chose. That is the right tool when the song is fixed.

When the edit is fixed, Sonilo generates the music around it. The cuts stay where you put them and the music is composed to land on them.

If you need sound effects aligned to individual frames rather than music aligned to the edit, use Video-to-Sound-Effects, which is frame-accurate.

Before you publish

Licensed source. Plan-based rights.

The model is trained on a licensed Shutterstock catalog. Free and Creator output is for personal, non-commercial use. Pro, Premium, Enterprise, and eligible API users have commercial-use rights under the current Sonilo Terms.

For monetized channels, paid ads, client projects, or a shipped game, check the plan used for generation and keep the output and license records with the project.

Common questions

Auto-Sync Music to Video, answered.

Does Sonilo move my cuts?

No. Your video is unchanged. The music is composed to fit the edit as uploaded, and you review the fit before exporting.

How exact is the sync?

Sonilo composes from the runtime and scene structure of the video, so transitions and the ending align with the edit. It is a music workflow, not a frame-accurate sound-effects tool; for frame-aligned hits use Video-to-Sound-Effects.

What if I re-edit the video afterwards?

Upload the new cut and generate again. Video-to-Music bills 18 credits per output second, so a re-edit costs the same as the first generation of that length.

Can I use the synced music commercially?

Free and Creator output is for personal, non-commercial use. Pro, Premium, Enterprise, and eligible API users have commercial-use rights under the current Sonilo Terms. Check the plan used for the generation and the intended release before publishing.
