Getting started
Sonilo generates a soundtrack and sound effects for your video. Upload a clip and Sonilo scores it to the visuals, or describe what you want in text and generate music or sound effects without a video.
MP4 or MOV.
It depends on your plan: Free up to 3 minutes (500 MB), Creator up to 5 minutes (1 GB), Pro up to 8 minutes (1.5 GB), Premium up to 15 minutes (3 GB).
Sonilo reads the visuals only, so your original audio is left alone. You can keep it, change its volume, replace it, or layer the generated track on top of it.
Yes. Sonilo generates several variations by default so you can pick the one that fits, and a text prompt is optional if you want to steer it.
Credits
Every generation costs credits, billed by how long the output is. All the models draw on the same balance: 18 credits per output second for Video-to-Music and for Video-to-Sound-Effects, 5 for Text-to-Music and 4 for Text-to-Sound-Effects. Every generation is billed for at least 15 seconds and at least 200 credits. Generating music and sound effects together from one video counts as two generations, so the floor there is 400 credits, not 200.
No. Your balance resets at the start of each billing cycle. If you run out before it renews you can buy extra credits at any time, and they go into the same balance.
Plans and billing
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately. A downgrade applies at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Payments are generally non-refundable once processed.
In your Sonilo account, under your subscription settings. Changes and cancellations are handled there.
Purchases made inside the app are held by the App Store or Google Play rather than by Sonilo, so they have to be changed or cancelled in your store account. We cannot cancel them for you.
Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are issued by Apple and Google under their own policies, so the request has to go to them rather than to us.
Licensing and commercial use
The music generation and sound effects generation models of Sonilo are fully licensed. Pro, Premium, Enterprise and eligible API users have commercial-use rights covering ads, branded content, client work and monetized channels. Free and Creator are for personal, non-commercial use. Read the licensing page before you publish; it has the full terms.
The output is an original work from a licensed model, so the track itself should not attract a third-party claim. What you can do with it still depends on your plan and on the current Terms, so check the licensing page before you publish.
Your account
You can delete it yourself from Settings in the Sonilo app, or email us if you cannot reach the app. Deleting starts a 30-day cooling-off period during which you can sign back in and undo it. Full instructions are on the account deletion page.

Developers
Yes. It covers video-to-music, text-to-music, video-to-sound-effects, text-to-sound-effects, audio ducking, task polling and account usage. The developer documentation has the endpoints, authentication and quickstarts. Eligible API users have commercial-use rights under the current Terms.
