Will Sonilo music get a Content ID claim on YouTube?

Short answer

It should not. Sonilo does not register generated tracks with YouTube Content ID, and each track is a new generation from a model trained on licensed catalogs rather than a copy of an existing recording, so Sonilo puts nothing into the fingerprint database that your track could match. No service can promise a claim will never appear; if one does on audio generated on Pro or above, dispute it and attach the track’s license certificate.

Why a claim can still appear

  • Someone registered a similar generation. Generation is non-exclusive, so another user could receive similar audio. No Sonilo plan includes registering a generation with Content ID, and your certificate shows your own license.
  • Other audio in your video matched. A song playing in the background, a sample, or a stock clip can trigger a claim that has nothing to do with the Sonilo track.

How to dispute a claim

  1. Open the claim in YouTube Studio and choose to dispute it.
  2. Say the audio was generated for your account on Sonilo under a commercial plan, and give the certificate ID and the verification link, sonilo.com/verify-license.
  3. Keep the generation in your library until the claim is resolved.

Get the certificate when you publish

Download the license certificate when the video goes live, not when a claim arrives. Certificates are issued for audio generated on Pro and Premium, which is also what a monetized video needs.

  • Free: Non-commercial. For trying Sonilo, not for publishing commercial work. A shared Free-plan download must be credited “Music by Sonilo” (Terms, Section 6.2).
  • Creator ($5.99 per month): Non-commercial. For trying Sonilo, not for publishing commercial work.
  • Pro ($14.99 per month): Commercial License. Ads, client work, monetized channels, apps, websites, and indie games. No attribution.
  • Premium ($29.99 per month): Commercial + film & TV. Everything in Pro, plus film, TV, broadcast, and studio games.
  • Enterprise (custom pricing): Commercial + custom terms. Adds custom terms, with procurement and legal support.
