Can I use Sonilo music and sound effects in monetized YouTube videos?

Content ID

Sonilo does not register generated tracks with YouTube Content ID, and every track is an original generation from a model trained on licensed catalogs rather than a copy of an existing recording, so the track itself is not in a rights-holder's fingerprint database. Two things can still produce a claim: a third party who uploaded the same or a similar generation and wrongly registered it, or a Content ID match on other audio in your video. If you receive a claim on Sonilo audio, dispute it and attach the track's license certificate, which states the scope, the licensee, and the verification URL.

Ads, sponsorships, and brand deals

All three are commercial use and are covered on Pro and above, including when the video is delivered to a brand rather than posted on your own channel.

Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms

The plan rule is the same everywhere: personal posting on Free and Creator, commercial posting on Pro and above. Each platform has its own rules on labelling AI-generated content; those apply to you regardless of the license.

Keep a record

Keep the generation in your library and download the certificate when you publish. If your plan later changes or you cancel, that record is what shows the track was made under a commercial plan.
