Can my app's users use audio generated through the Sonilo API commercially?

What this covers

• Your own product. Music and sound effects your integration generates can ship inside your app or website, in its marketing, and in anything you sell.
• Your end users. When your users generate audio through your integration, for example by scoring their edits in a video-editing app, they can publish it commercially: paid ads and sponsored posts, client deliverables, and monetized YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram channels.

How API billing relates to the plans

The Free, Pro, and Premium plans on the pricing page, and existing Creator subscriptions, govern audio generated in the sonilo.com app. The API is sold separately: you create a key on platform.sonilo.com, and each generation is billed per second from a prepaid US-dollar balance, with no monthly subscription. You do not need a Pro or Premium plan for API output to be usable commercially, and your users do not need a Sonilo account. Enterprise API customers follow their enterprise agreement.

Film, broadcast, and streaming release

For film, TV or broadcast use, or for releasing tracks to Spotify, Apple Music or other streaming services, contact sales first. Use contact sales and describe the channel.

What stays the same

• Generation is non-exclusive: another user may receive a similar result, and AI output may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction (Terms, Section 8.2).
• Keep the API key on your server. The Terms do not let you share it (Section 10).
