Is Sonilo music safe to use commercially?

What makes it safe to publish

1. A commercial license on the plan. The plan is the license: no per-track fee, no royalty.
2. Ownership of the output. Section 6.1 of the Terms assigns you any rights Sonilo has in the output generated for your account. See who owns the music.
3. Licensed training data. The music model is trained on professionally licensed catalogs, including content authorized through Sonilo's Shutterstock partnership. See what Sonilo was trained on.
4. A record you can show. On Pro and Premium, the license certificate records the plan, scope, and training-data provenance, checkable at sonilo.com/verify-license.

What it does not promise

• Exclusivity. Generation is non-exclusive; another user may receive similar output.
• A registrable copyright everywhere. AI-generated output may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction.
• Streaming release. No plan includes releasing a track through a distributor to Spotify, Apple Music, or other streaming services.
• Your inputs. You remain responsible for the rights to any video or audio you upload.

Which plans

• Free: Non-commercial. For trying Sonilo, not for publishing commercial work. A shared Free-plan download must be credited “Music by Sonilo” (Terms, Section 6.2).
• Creator ($5.99 per month): Non-commercial. For trying Sonilo, not for publishing commercial work.
• Pro ($14.99 per month): Commercial License. Ads, client work, monetized channels, apps, websites, and indie games. No attribution.
• Premium ($29.99 per month): Commercial + film & TV. Everything in Pro, plus film, TV, broadcast, and studio games.
• Enterprise (custom pricing): Commercial + custom terms. Adds custom terms, with procurement and legal support.
