Using intro music

Hook in the first two seconds

Viewers decide fast. An intro that opens on its hook, rather than fading in, holds them while the title card is on screen.

Keep it short

Five to fifteen seconds is plenty for a channel intro. Longer ones get skipped, and they push the video’s first line further back.

One intro for the series

Use the same intro on every episode of a show or podcast and it becomes a signature: listeners know where they are before you speak.

Monetized channels

An intro on a monetized channel or a sponsored podcast is commercial use, covered on Pro and above. The free download covers personal videos.

Can I use it in a monetized YouTube video?

Yes, on Pro or above. Monetized videos are commercial use, which the free download does not cover. Sonilo does not register library tracks with YouTube Content ID.

Do I need to credit Sonilo?

No. Library tracks need no credit or attribution, on any plan. You can still mention Sonilo if you like.

What if I can’t find the right intro track?

Describe the one you need — instruments, tempo, mood, length — and generate it with Sonilo’s text-to-music. New accounts get free credits; custom tracks follow your plan’s license.

Every track in this library is free to download for personal, non-commercial use. Using a track in ads (including paid ad campaigns), client work, or monetized or sponsored content needs Pro or above, with no revenue cap. Sonilo does not register library tracks with YouTube Content ID. A free download doesn’t come with a license certificate; on Pro and above you can get one for any track here. Use a track only as part of a larger work of your own.
