Hear the attack and the tail

An impact emphasizes a cut, a confirmation announces success, and a low mechanical sound can support suspense. Each category contains named alternatives from the source packs. Audition their full tails, then compare them at the visible action; a longer sound may distract when a brief cue would be enough.

Use cases

FAQ

Before you begin

How do the three style buttons differ?+

They select impact sounds, game confirmations or suspense sounds. Choose a named candidate within each category to compare actual variations.

What should I listen for in an impact sound?+

Compare the initial hit and the complete tail at the same scene action. A long tail may suit emphasis but overwhelm a short cue.

Are the suspense sounds extracted from horror films?+

No. They are mechanical and computer sounds from the identified Kenney Sci-fi pack, not extracted film audio or AI-generated atmospheres.

Does changing style keep the same scene timing?+

Each selected sound plays once at four seconds, so you can compare different sounds at the same action.
